Who's handsome?.......KENDALL IS!
For some weird reason, I put pictures first...oh well, here's the life story of our dear beloved Kendall Schmidt:
Kendall Francis Schmidt was born on November 2, 1990 on Wichita, Kansas. He was raised in a nearby town, Andover. Kendall has two older brothers who both have gone into acting. After watching both of his older brothers, Kenneth and Kevin, as they enjoyed themselves while acting, Kendall decided to give it a go. In the beginning, it was just for fun but soon enough, he realized how much he loved theatre. “My first acting memory is starring in a Chex commercial with my brothers. Even though we went to the audition separately, we were cast to play brothers,” Schmidt recalls. “This happened to us several different times.” When Kendall was just ten years old, the Schmidt’s moved from Kansas to California. Soon enough Kendall landed recurring roles in General Hospital, Gilmore Girls, Titus, Raising Dad, and C.S.I. Miami. He guest starred on a variety of TV shows, including ER, Mad TV, Frasier, and Phil of the Future, Without a Trace and Ghost Whisperer. In the last three years, he has learned to play guitar and has honed his singing skills from singing in the car with his mom to recording in the studio. Kendall realized his great love for music. Inspired by his all-time favorite band, Taking Back Sunday, and Incubus, Kendall has begun writing his own music. His family also helped to inspire him. “My whole family has given me the drive to succeed,” he said. “My brothers mean the world to me. They keep me grounded and offer a different perspective when I need advice.” Kendall was drawn to playing Kendall Knight in Big Time Rush because of the music fact. “Acting comes naturally to me but I think I am best at music,” said Schmidt. “If I could combine both loves, then I’m successful.” Kendall relates to his character, who suddenly finds himself thrust into the limelight, trying to get a handle on being a part of a pop group. Kendall (The BTR’s character’s) attitude is to enjoy the ride and Kendall (the really one) has the same attitude. Kendall enjoys hanging out with his friends and spending time outside. He enjoys rock climbing, skateboarding, and surfing. Kendall lives in LA with his two dogs, cat, bird, tortoise and python.
